Well, hello again! This past week I’ve dug down deep into the mind of one of my favorite beings. Today, I’m telling you all about his view on growing into the amazing dad and person he is today.
It’s hard sometimes, raising little people. So, I’m asking you to take a step back and analyze your parents behavior during your upbringing and your behavior toward your own children.
Let’s get this started, here’s 10 questions I had to get the answers to written as they were spoken from the mouth of the speaker.
- Did you always know what you wanted to be when you grew up?
-No, I thought I did when I was younger, but as I grew up that continued to change. I knew I wanted to make a difference, and to better the community. How I would do that constantly changed.
2. What’s one thing your parents always told you that turned out to be true?
-“You’ll understand when you get to be my age.” The little things that upset me then, I now realize are just what need to be done.
3. What is ONE thing you want out of life for your children?
-Happiness and health
4. If you could have dinner with anyone famous, who would it be and why?
-Ralph Waldo Emerson, he could help open my mind to things that we don’t understand in society today.
5. Is there something you’ve always wanted to do, but never had the chance?
-Build my own home from scratch. I just want to live in something with my family that I was able to create…not to mention how much money it would save me.
6. What’s an underrated, but important skill you think everyone should have?
-Driving a standard, yeah everyone should know how to do that.
7. How do you want people to remember you?
-Grateful and loving…kind and grateful and loving.
8. What makes you happiest?
-My children, that’s an easy one. You too, but to appease the audience I’ll say it’s the children.
9. Name 3 things your kids do that they get from you.
-Eating spicy foods, passing out quicker than a light switch, their love for puzzles and games.
10. What is the secret to raising kids?
-Love every minute. Enjoy the little things.
There you have it. Ten semi deep questions and answers from one of my favorite dudes and dads on the planet.
I want you to take some time to really dig deep into what makes you, you. What drives you? What makes your life the happiest? Take some time, use this as a conversation starter with your better half. After all, we are all under quarantine at this time, let it bring some benefits to light.
